Who is responsible for your data

SION Travel, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you provide through this website, WhatsApp, email or social media, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Data we collect

Identification and contact data: name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.

Details of the trip you request: destination, dates, number and ages of travelers, budget and any preferences you choose to share.

Minimal technical data for security and measurement: an encrypted identifier derived from your IP address, browser type and the page or campaign you came from.

To complete a booking, your advisor may ask for additional data such as an official ID, passport or date of birth. We do not request sensitive personal data; if you need to share health or accessibility information for your trip, we will only process it with your express consent.

How we use your data

Necessary purposes: responding to your requests and sending quotes; managing bookings with tour operators, hotels, airlines, cruise lines and other travel providers; supporting you before, during and after your trip; and complying with legal and tax obligations.

Additional purposes: sending promotions and our newsletter, inviting you to satisfaction surveys and producing statistics to improve the website. You can opt out of these at any time by writing to us; doing so does not affect the service for your trip.

Who we share your data with

We only share the data required with the domestic or foreign travel providers involved in your trip (wholesale tour operators, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, transport companies and guides), as this is essential to deliver what you booked.

We also share it with authorities when required by law. Our technology providers (website hosting, database and email delivery) process your data only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the use of your data, and revoke your consent or limit its use and disclosure.

Send your request to contacto@siontravel.com.mx, via WhatsApp or the contact form stating your name, the right you wish to exercise, a clear description of the data and a document proving your identity. We will respond within the time limits set by law.

Technologies on this website

We use your browser's local storage only for essential functions: remembering your language preference and the campaign you arrived from during your visit. Website analytics do not use cookies, and anti-bot verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) protects our forms against abuse.

Changes to this notice

Any change to this privacy notice will be published on this page with its update date. If you believe your right to data protection has been violated, you may contact the competent authority.
